Marcelo Fiallos is a Florida Native. His parents moved here from Nicaragua and studied medicine at the University of Florida in Gainesville where Marcelo was born. The family subsequently moved to various cities across Florida, as his parents finished their residency, before settling in Tampa where Marcelo grew up. As a youth Marcelo played soccer both recreationally and competitively. Marcelo returned to Gainesville as a college freshman and ultimately earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida. He went on to earn his law degree in 2015 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he received the prestigious Robert S. Baynard Scholarship and Florida Law Grant for academic excellence.
In his spare time Marcelo still loves to play recreational soccer. His favorite team is FC Barcelona. He also enjoys studying world history. He is an avid reader and enjoys learning about all things from the past. Marcelo has a keen interest in other cultures and loves to travel. He spent a semester studying abroad at Florence University of the Arts located in Florence, Italy while in college. During law school, he studied for a semester at the University of Montpellier located in Montpellier, France. His favorite destinations to date are Amsterdam, Barcelona, Florence, and Lisbon.
Marcelo is fluent in Spanish and has a working understanding of both Catalan and Italian.
Marcelo Fiallos was deliberate in his choice of personal injury as the field of law he wanted to practice after graduation because he enjoys helping people. Marcelo has a genuinely kind and caring personality. He is committed to treating every client with the same compassion, dignity, and courtesy he would a member of his own family. Marcelo was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2015 and currently works as an associate attorney at the law firm of Larmoyeux & Bone.
